Hello and Happy New Year! Jonathan Cormur here and Mr. Redge and I are eagerly gearing up for the launch of Season 5 on February 8, 2024. Josephine’s Curiosity: Jonathan’s Family Reunion
Josephine wonders if I, Jonathan, ever visit my family since I entered Once Upon a Time through a magical tree. Well, the answer is yes! I do travel between worlds, spending time with my family and human friends. It’s how I learn about the stories and hidden heroes I bring back to tell you and my critter friends who live here in Once Upon a Time.
I also like to include some of my own personal experiences in the stories we tell you, like my family’s “marshmallow mountains and cupcake hills” bedtime traditions I shared in the sleep story, Once Upon a Lullaby.
Clever Fredo 2: Unveiling the Mysteries of Mr. Redge
Fredo 2 on Spotify is curious about Mr. Redge’s mother and why he can change sizes. So, here’s the scoop: Mr. Redge’s mother is Regina Hedgehog who comes from the magical land of Fairyquill. And when it comes to size-changing, it’s all thanks to my word-master abilities where I used the power of words to cast magical spells. One of my favorites is a size-changing spell so I can make Redge grow as tall as I am so we can play games and tell stories together. I can also make myself smaller so Redge and I can have tea in his very stylish hovel.
FaithC Wants to Know: Redge’s Favorite Hidden Hero of History
FaithC on Spotify posts encouraging and thoughtful notes after almost every one of our episodes. She wants to know out of all the hidden heroes I’ve told Redge about, which one is his favorite. Redge says that every hero’s story I tell him is fascinating and important and he loves learning about all of them.
He mentioned Nichelle Nichols because her influence when way beyond her ground-breaking role as Lieutenant Uhura on Star Trek. She helped to recruit more women and people of color to become astronauts at NASA. Her story inspired Redge to go where no hedgehog has gone before: Becoming a Trekkie!
